Celebrate 2009! Creative showcase

After the phenomenal success of the 2008, Celebrate! Creative Showcase, this year’s event was even bigger and better! It was held on January 27th 2009 at the Hospital, Endell St, London, and we gave 70 agencies and brands the chance to showcase the one piece of work from 2008 that they were most proud of.

Like last year there were no rules to this and no channel or discipline preference, so they submitted what they wanted to. Anything from a DM piece, a viral, a website, a new logo or brand identity, to a full integrated campaign, or piece of on-pack or experiential - literally anything, as long as they were really proud of it. That was our only criteria.

The 2009 showcase had 70 pieces of work mounted and displayed and around 350 leading Creatives from both agency and in-house attended the evening.

In addition to the evening event, throughout the day we hosted a series of junior workshops. Four leading Executive Creative Directors gave young Creatives the benefit of their experience with presentations on topics such as 'how to put a great portfolio together' and 'how to give / take a great creative brief'.
