I've had a pretty varied career - I worked both permanent and freelance in-house at some great integrated agencies as well as doing a stint in-house, but when I'd had enough of running artwork and dealing with difficult clients, I knew I needed to do something new and that's when Blue Skies suggested recruitment to me. Working in recruitment wasn't something I'd ever really thought about, but once I'd met the Directors and found out how Blue Skies did recruitment (differently to the other recruiters I'd worked with), I couldn't wait to sign up.
Two years on, I still love the industry and I get a real kick from finding agencies top talent. The most satisfying part of the job is when candidates get offered their dream role and they scream with excitement before saying yes! I have no regrets about moving into recruitment - why not give it a go?

I had worked in various recruitment roles both in-house and agency side but my last role as a recruitment consultant in the property sector had left me very disillusioned with the business. That was until somebody mentioned Blue Skies to me.
From the day of my first interview I realised this was a recruitment agency with a difference. Here, service and long term relationship building is paramount to everything we do. Couple that with a bunch of like minded, intelligent and fun colleagues and it really doesn't get much better. I've been with Blue Skies for over two years now and have recently taken on a team leader role, and I have to say I've not looked back once.
