One of the leading international property solutions providers is looking for a Communications Manager for an ongoing contract, with possibility to go permanent. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative company that offers a rewarding working environment.
This is a brand new role designed to provide an in-house press office function, bolster the crisis management facility and deliver consistent external and internal messaging either personally or through the internal marketing and communications team and external PR agencies.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will be responsible for managing, creating and implementing a variety of communications material with an emphasis on internal communications and media relations. You will also provide copywriting for exhibition literature and stand material, press releases, feature submissions, briefing notes, speeches and internal communications.
We are looking for a personable and self-motivated communications professional with very strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. You must be very confident dealing with media on local and national level, as well as be able to manage a number of internal clients. Creative flair and great copywriting skills are also essential.
Key skills and experience:
* Proven experience in PR & Communications, with an emphasis on media relations, issue & crisis management, internal communications, marketing communications collateral, management of agencies, press release writing
* Good project management and time management skills and the ability to manage many projects and deadlines at any one time
* Hands-on experience in dealing with the press
* Excellent, flexible writing skills with an ability to adopt different styles
* Ability to assimilate and then communicate complex and sensitive messages in a clear manner
* Ability to work at speed with excellent attention to detail
* Experience in complex projects
* Experience of working within the property sectors will be an advantage
