PR Manager - Leisure/ entertainment - Central London - c. £35k
A brilliant opportunity for a PR Manager, or Account Manager agency side, to join and represent an iconic leisure and entertainment brand. Never out of the press, this edgy brand is intrinsically linked to celebrity and fame. With a real flair to drive PR strategy and idea generation, you will be responsible for pushing campaigns and exploiting opportunities that arise from this company's uniqueness. No two days would be the same here - the fast pace of reacting to news, strategic campaign creation, managing the PR agency, as well as acting as a company spokesperson - your days will certainly be filled and you can't fail to develop as a top-notch PR Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
*The continuation and development of the PR strategy to maximise consumer awareness and visitor numbers
*Manage the PR agency to deliver outstanding coverage across all media formats, setting objectives and leading meetings
*Working alongside the Communications Manager, you will ensure integration across other agency activity
*Act as advisor to the company on all PR activity
*Act as spokesperson
*Budget management, reporting to the Head of Marketing on a monthly basis
Key skills and attributes include:
*Significant PR experience - up to AM/SAM level in agency, PR Manager client side
*Ideally prior experience in the leisure and or/entertainment sectors
*Great management skills - budget, man and agency ideally
*Familiar with management of celebrity photo-calls
*A great networker, you must be confident and articulate
*Good business acumen
*Project management skills - be able to deliver ideas and opportunities through to completion in line with budgets
