Momentum Worldwide has acquired Greenroom Digital and Entertainment Intelligence.

Advertising agency Momentum Worldwide has bought Greenroom Digital and Entertainment Intelligence, it has been announced.

Campaign magazine reports that the deal was finalised on April 8th for an undisclosed sum. Fifty staff will be moved to the newly-rebranded Momentum's London office.

Momentum's senior management team, including Chris Weil, worldwide chief executive, will keep their existing job titles, according to Campaign.

Momentum London's chief executive Paul Biggins explained the benefits of the acquisition.

"We didn't have the depth and breadth of digital skill, but this deal allows us to plug that gap," he said.

Greenroom Digital's co-founder said that the takeover was amicable.

"There are no conflict issues, which means the merged companies will be much greater than the sum of their parts," said Nick Hamm to Campaign.

Momentum Worldwide's client portfolio includes Coca-Cola, Bacardi and Grolsch.

Greenroom Digital had previously worked on marketing campaigns for films such as Son of Rambow, Spiderman 3 and the Fantastic Four.

Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment works on behalf of both permanent and freelance agency and in-house candidates across the creative, design and branding, digital, DM, events, experiential, integrated, PR and sales promotion sectors.
