MindShare has announced that it will restructure its business.
London-based media agency MindShare has announced that it is to restructure its global business model, led by a team in the UK, according to Campaign magazine.
The move will see the previous 12 agency units reduced to four, including a client leadership unit, a business planning group, a content creation unit and a trading group.
MindShare says that it hopes to integrate content creation into other services in the restructure, which will begin with immediate effect.
MindShare's chief strategy officer, Nick Emery, explained how the move will improve the perception of the agency to clients.
"There is a significant need right now among clients for agency leadership. They want agencies to take the lead in learning about and applying digital marketing, from retail to creating new revenue streams," he said, according to Campaign.
Mr Emery will be one of those leading the changes, along with Marco Rimini, the head of communications planning. It is hoped that the restructure will be completed by the end of 2008.
MindShare is one of the UK's top three media agencies and offers services in media communication, including digital, sponsorship, sports marketing, experiential marketing, content creation and direct marketing.
Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment works on behalf of both permanent and freelance agency and in-house candidates across the creative, design and branding, digital, DM, events, experiential, integrated, PR and sales promotion sectors.
