A new creative development director has been appointed for Coca-Cola.
Drinks giant Coca-Cola has announced the appointment of a new director of creative development.
Design Week reports that Coley Porter Bell client services director Guy Duncan will take the helm as of June 8th. The move is unusual, as Duncan had previously worked in design and client services as opposed to advertising.
Mr Duncan will report to company's corporate creative excellence director and will lead both the London and the Brussels-based teams.
He will also be responsible for the brand development of all Coca-Cola's products, including Fanta and Sprite.
Mr Duncan will replace Alessandro Andolina, who has held the role for 18 months, but Vicky Bullen, chief executive of Coley Porter Bell, says that a replacement for Mr Duncan is still to be decided, according to Design Week.
Coca-Cola is currently running a new advertising campaign for Coke Zero, designed to build brand awareness and cement the position of the product as the third cola in the portfolio alongside Coca-Cola and Diet Coke.
