Design event coming up in London

St Bride Library will host a design event in May.
An event is to take place at St Bride library in London to discuss current issues in the field of design.
The conference will be entitled Seeking Inspiration: Creative Thinking Around the Design Process and will feature a host of famous names from within the industry, reports Design Week.
Speakers will include the creator of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon artwork George Hardie, independent type producer Jeremy Tankard and designer Erik Spiekermann.
One key theme will be whether inspiration in today's modern world kills the design process.
Catherine Dixon, a volunteer at St Bride, said that the event will be relevant for designers at all stages of their careers.
"We wanted to have a broad range of ideas on the theme of inspiration, from household names like George Hardie talking about how to sustain a 40-year career, to younger designers explaining their take on their own practice," she said, according to Design Week.
The event will be held on May 15th and 16th.
St Bride Library was opened in 1895 and today caters for current practitioners form every branch of the design, graphics and printing trade.
