The Body Shop has still not found a new global creative director, it has been reported.
According to Design Week, the Body Shop is still without a global creative director after the departure of Franco Bonadio over six months ago.
Mr Bonadio left the cosmetics giant to join Identica as its UK chief executive, but no replacement has yet been found.
Some 50 designers work in the Body Shop's creative department in areas such as store design and packaging creation.
"We are still running the recruitment process for the creative director role," said a Body Shop spokesperson, according to Design Week.
It was announced in November 2007 that Mr Bonadio was to take the creative helm of Identica after being employed at the Body Shop since 2003.
The first branch of The Body Shop opened in Brighton in 1976. In 1997, it was the first international cosmetics company to sign up to the Humane Cosmetics Standard.
In 1999, it created four new business units in the UK, Europe, the Americas and Asia.
