A monthly magazine has announced a new appointment in its marketing department.

Woman & Home magazine has announced that it has appointed Zoe Levey as its new head of marketing.

Ms Levey has previously worked on titles such as Country Living, Harpers & Queen and Esquire. Most recently, she was acting promotions director for Conde Nast's Vanity Fair.

She will be responsible for developing the marketing of the Woman & Home brand and will replace Faith Hill, who is moving to become publisher for Wedding and Hair magazines.

Woman & Home publishing director Linda Swidenbank said that she was pleased with the appointment and its potential for brand development.

"Zoe was the perfect choice for this role, with an excellent track record in developing concepts and contacts. She brings a new perspective to the team and is ideally placed to further develop the Woman & Home marketing strategy."

The 2007 ABC circulation figures report found that many magazine publishers are investing in the online versions of their titles, with a more broad-minded approach to how their readers access content.

Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment works on behalf of both permanent and freelance agency and in-house candidates across the creative, design and branding, digital, DM, events, experiential, integrated, PR and sales promotion sectors.
