Two UK teams have been successful at a creative awards ceremony in Stockholm.
Two teams of young designers from the UK have won awards at the Best Yet contest held in Stockholm, Campaign magazine reports.
Zoe Hough and Miranda Abbs from the Lean Mean Fighting Machine agency beat 19 other groups to scoop the gold award at the contest, which required entrants to develop a design to market Lego's Bionicle range.
Meanwhile, St Lukes' team, comprising Enrique Reija and Borja Alvarez, won second place.
The winners will now be given the chance to attend the Cannes Lions advertising festival, which is set to take place in June.
"The originality of the winners' insight and the simple execution made this entry a unanimous choice across the whole jury," said judge Stef Jones of Big Al's Creative Emporium, according to Campaign magazine.
Earlier this month, the chief designer of communications giant Nokia commented on the design industry in the UK, stating that the world of design is changing and that marketers should embrace this if they wish to remain competitive.
