Monkey Communications is to back a new mobile internet agency.
Communications agency Monkey is to be involved with the launch of a new mobile internet agency, it has been announced.
According to Precision Marketing, Yodel Digital will have a staff of five and will be in London's Camden, in a bid to capitalise on the growth and potential of mobile internet advertising.
Monkey's managing director Mick Rigby will be the company's chairman, while Mike McLaughlin, current financial director, will be commercial director.
Mr Rigby said that the new company will exploit the current gap in the marketing area.
"The mobile internet advertising market is characterised by uncertainty and confusion. There just isn't an agency that can provide advertisers with the knowledge and dedicated skills to cut through this," he said.
Monkey Communications is a creative communications agency, specialising in strategic and media planning, for example, sponsorship, event creation and PR.
Its clients include Heinz, Charles Worthington and Save The Children, among others.
Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment works on behalf of both permanent and freelance agency and in-house candidates across the creative, design and branding, digital, DM, events, experiential, integrated, PR and sales promotion sectors.
