New appointment for Stephens Francis Whitson

A UK-based direct marketing agency has announced it will appoint a new executive.

Direct marketing (DM) agency Stephens Francis Whitson (SFW) has announced that Caroline Kimber it to be appointed as head of data planning, reports Precision Marketing.

Ms Kimber was formerly employed at Wegener, where she was DM director and has now been given responsibility for building SFW's data planning capability.

SFW planning partner Chris Whitson said that he is pleased with the appointment and its implications for the company.

"Hiring someone of Caroline's calibre demonstrates how seriously we believe a sound strategic data planning offer is core to our business. Her experience and ability will be a huge asset to our planning function," he said, according to the magazine.

Ms Kimber has also worked for CACI, where she was vice-president, as well as being elected vice-chairman of the Direct Marketing Association's data council in 2004.

SFW was established in 2005. The company's clients include House of Fraser, More Than, Dyson and the School Food Trust.
