Magazine launches agency showcase

Precision Marketing is to launch an online marketing agency showcase, it has announced.
Precision Marketing has announced that it is to implement an online service which will allow potential clients to access information about marketing agencies.
The magazine will allow agencies to display information about their current work and direct marketing campaigns on the new site - Pmagencyshowcase.com - in a bid to display how they respond to their brief effectively.
It will be promoted via Google's Adwords service, as well as by links from affiliated sites, including Mad.co.uk and Marketingweek.co.uk.
In addition, all regular readers will receive direct emails containing details about the new service.
Charlie McKelvey, editor of Precision Marketing, said that the new site will satisfy demand from people who have previously requested information.
"Clients are always asking us which agencies are doing the good work. This new site will provide a showcase for the best direct marketing campaigns," he said.
A report from research body Forrester earlier this year claimed that today's agencies fail to help marketers engage with consumers, who, as a result, are becoming less brand-loyal and more trusting of each other. It said that agencies must connect with consumer communities if they wish to be successful.
