Marketing agency scoops gongs at IDM awards

A UK-based direct marketing agency has won an award for its work.

London-based communications agency WDMP has won a top Diamond Award at the Institute of Direct Marketing's Business Performance Awards 2008, it has been announced.

According to Precision Marketing, the company won the award for the promotional material it produced for Thomson Holidays, beating other agencies including Tequila and Latitude Group.

The company also won the award for Direct Retention for its Thomson work.

Meanwhile, runners-up in the Diamond category included Rapier for its Virgin Media campaign and OgilvyOne Worldwide for its BT Business Total Broadband account, the magazine reports.

Other winners on the night included Proximity London - which won the Direct Creative award for its Royal Mail Chocolate Letter - and Blue Sheep, which won Best Use of Data in B2B Marketing for its Rapid Racking business.

WDMP is a modern communications agency specialising in offline and online direct response media and marketing solutions.

Its other clients include Habitat, British Gas and Talk Talk.
