TradeDoubler announces new MD

A UK marketing company has announced a new appointment.

Digital marketing firm TradeDoubler has announced the appointment of Ben Woods as its new managing director.

Mr Woods has joined the company following a successful spell as joint managing director at Aegis Media UK where he worked since August 2005; he had been working to develop the company's digital product range in the UK.

His new focus will be to broaden TradeDoubler's digital, performance-based offering in the UK, while maintaining the company's leading position within the affiliate marketing industry.

Mr Woods has also recently been appointed chair of the Internet Advertising Bureau Affiliate Council for 2008.

"I can think of no other business in the media space that is positioned so perfectly to deliver tangible business results for brands," he noted.

TradeDoubler is global performance-based digital marketing firm. It is headquartered in Sweden but has offices in 18 countries across Europe and Asia.

The company specialises in improving results for online marketing initiatives.
