A financial services provider has appointed a new head of marketing.
Financial service provider Citi has announced that it has appointed a new head of marketing for its UK division.
Marketing Week reports that Patrick Muir, Egg launch marketer, will join the company at the end of June, replacing Alison Wright who left the company in February.
Mr Muir will report to Bert Pijls, country business manager for Citis UK consumer business.
He has previously worked for Octopus investments, where he was responsible for developing the company's first marketing team, as well as US bank Morgan Stanley.
Mr Mui joined Egg in 1997, where he was promoted to marketing director before leaving in 2004.

Last year, the company dropped the guinea pig advertising campaign that it had been running since 2005 in favour of a new character, Raoul the dolphin.
