Creative execs to showcase personal work

Creative industry professionals will display their personal artwork in London from today (June 18th).

An exhibition featuring the personal portfolios of creative media professionals will be held in London this week.

Art in Industry will showcase work by over 40 contributors, including video game and web designers, film-makers, television professionals and illustrators, all created outside the artists' working lives.

Pieces including digital installations, fine art, animated films and sound compositions will feature in the event, created by producer Brynley Gibson and the Shunt theatre collective.

The only condition for contribution was that artwork must have been created by professionals "on their day off", Design Week reports.

Shunt is an artists' collective that creates large-scale performances in unusual locations in London. Art in Industry will take place in Shunt's premises, a space described as a "sprawling labyrinth of railway arches under London bridge station" by the collective.

The exhibition will run from June 18th to 21st.
