StrawberryFrog to expand to UK

Communications agency StrawberryFrog is planning to open a new office in London.

Talks are underway to add London to StrawberryFrog's international operations, Campaign has reported.

It is currently compiling a senior management team from existing London advertising talent, according to sources.

StrawberryFrog describes itself as "blazing a trail with unfettered energy, breakthrough strategy and creativity and fresh ideas".

The agency has grown from its first office in Amsterdam 1999 to New York, Tokyo and Sao Paulo. A branch in Mumbai is also planned.

StrawberryFrog designed the Asics's Onitsuku Tiger footwear brand campaign, controlled from its Amsterdam office. It featured a website where customers could watch a film of the creation of an Onitsuku Tiger trainer constructed from icons associated with Japan.

It has also worked with Vauxhall, Panasonic and the Chevrolet Aveo in Europe, the latter worth £30 million.

The Brazilian office has worked with PepsiCo, while the new Mumbai branch is expected to oversee car brand Mahindra's overseas campaigns.
