Design appointment for 1HQ venture

Creative agency 1HQ has appointed a new managing partner.

UK-based design agency 1HQ has announced the appointment of a managing partner to oversee a new venture.

Peter Hollingsworth will manage the company's new creative brand design and packaging group Vibrandt from August, reports Design Week.

He was most recently employed at Parker Williams Design - where he was managing creative director - and Enterprise IG.

It is hoped that Mr Hollingsworth's appointment will allow the company to provide a more well-rounded design service.

"This is a really exciting move for me. Vibrandt is a strong brand and the 1HQ team are passionate about seriously growing the business. We have got all the disciplines working together under one roof to deliver compelling design solutions based on fantastic consumer insight," he commented.

Chief executive of 1HQ John Sandom added that he was looking forward to working with Mr Hollingsworth.

1HQ, formerly known as the Sandom Group, is the holding company that incorporates Vibrandt, brand design and Distillery brand consulting. It was founded in 1993.
