Joint managing director of Vizeum leaves for a new role at Mother

After five years the joint managing director of media agency Vizeum, Matt Andrews, has left the company to take up a new position at Mother, Brand Republic reports.

The move was confirmed by Vizeum's other managing director, Grant Millar, the article states.

Mother has not announced the appointment but it is believed that Mr Andrews will take a strategy job with the company.

Speaking to Brand Republic, Mr Millar said: "It's a shame to lose Matt ... It's been brilliant working with him but he leaves the agency in the best possible position."

The departure of Mr Andrews follows the announcement that Vizeum's managing partner Ben Wood is set to leave.

He is reportedly working his notice before moving to online as network TradeDoubler.

Brand Republic states that Vizeum are taking on Patrick Affleck from Profero as head of digital strategy.

Head of planning Matthew Hook is expected to take over Mr Andrews' role.

Vizeum claims to deliver commercially successful brand and consumer connections.
