The panel of judges for the 2008 Benchmark awards has been announced.

The judging panel for the Benchwork design awards, held by Design Week magazine, has been revealed and features an array of top names in the creative industry.

Boots design head Jon Turner and HSBC's David Delaney are among them, as are Paul Porral of John Lewis and the Design Council's David Godber.

The panel will be chaired by Lynda Relph-Knight, editor of the magazine.

This year will mark the fourth annual ceremony, which will be held on December 2nd at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London. The deadline for entries was today (July 4th).

The Benchmarks aim to set a standard in the recognition of brand communication campaigns with a strong strategic concept across a variety of channels, for example, via websites, brochures or other marketing material.

Entrants are judged on the consistency of the brand message, overall creativity and innovation, as well as the appropriateness within their particular category.

Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment works on behalf of both permanent and freelance agency and in-house candidates across the creative, design and branding, digital, DM, events, experiential, integrated, PR and sales promotion sectors.
