The publisher behind Auto Trader magazine has made a new media appointment.
Trader Media Group (TMG), the publisher that produces automotive magazine Auto Trader, has announced the appointment of a group director of new media.
Dominic Collins, former director of Sky's online products and services, will take the helm and will be responsible for digital products, delivery and innovation across the group.
He will also manage all the company's website offerings, reports Brand Republic.
Prior to his employment at Sky, Mr Collins also worked for mobile and email marketing company Buongiorno, as well as the National Magazine Company, where he was group advertising director.
Mr Collins' new supervisor John King, TMG chief executive, said: "Collins' wealth of experience working in the media industry will bring huge benefits to the group".
Auto Trader, TMG's flagship title and its first to be published, appears weekly in 13 regions of the UK. Its readership in 2006 was estimated as 1.46 million, amounting to an annual print run of 22 million copies.
