Telecommunications giant Orange has unveiled plans to launch a social networking facility for its customers this summer.
Global telecommunications company Orange has revealed that it is to launch a social networking facility for its UK handsets.
According to Brand Republic, the service will allow members of Facebook, MySpace and Bebo to access their profiles without having to log onto each individual site.
The service is similar to one already available in France.
Paul-Francois Fournier, senior vice-president for portal strategy and online advertising at Orange, said that the service would be useful for its customers who want to access popular sites on the go.
"It also supports our cross-platform advertising strategy, with a compelling offer for advertisers to reach all those different communities in one single place on Orange World portals," he added.
Orange is one of the UK's largest telecommunications providers and is part of the France Telecom Group.
The company operates as an internet service provider in France, the UK, Equatorial Guinea, the Netherlands, Spain, Senegal, Slovakia and Switzerland.
Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment works on behalf of both permanent and freelance agency and in-house candidates across the creative, design and branding, digital, DM, events, experiential, integrated, PR and sales promotion sectors.
