A Manchester-based post-production house whose projects include the Glastonbury Festival has taken on a new creative director.
422 Manchester has appointed a new creative director who it is hoped will help the post-production house strengthen its output and attract new business.
According to The Drum magazine John Sharp, a visual effects and design expert with 16 years of experience, will take up the position.
He has contributed to films such as Hannibal, X-Men and the James Bond movie Die Another Day and has also worked in the broadcast and commercial industries.
Richard Wallword, production director at 422 Manchester, told The Drum magazine that Mr Sharp represents "the final piece" in the company's "creative jigsaw".
"John's extensive portfolio of work means he will feel comfortable being involved with either high end post-production, commercial work or creative broadcast graphic sequences," he remarked.
422 Manchester specialises in visual effects, motion graphics, animation and sound design and its clients include the BBC and Channel 4, with Glastonbury and How To Look Good Naked being two of its major projects.
