Publishing and editorial agency Publicis Blueprint has announced the appointment of a new chief executive.

London publishing and editorial provider Publicis Blueprint has announced that it has appointed a new chief executive to replace Jason Frost.

Formerly joint managing director with Alastair Young, Geri Richards will take the helm as of this month, Brand Republic reports.

Ms Richards previously worked at Premier Publishing and joined Publicis Blueprint in 1999, working on an account for the Asda magazine.

Mr Frost left the company earlier this year, along with about a third of its workforce, after financial irregularities were discovered.

Ms Richard's appointment is part of a business turnaround, which aims to build the client base back up after the loss of several accounts.

The company recently won a contract to provide a magazine for healthcare firm ConvaTec.

Publicis Blueprint aims to help companies to build up a relationship with their customers by providing relevant editorial content in the form of magazine, TV, radio and mobile campaigns.

Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment works on behalf of both permanent and freelance agency and in-house candidates across the creative, design and branding, digital, DM, events, experiential, integrated, PR and sales promotion sectors.
