Marketing agency Golley Slater has announced a shakeup of its digital offerings.

UK-based marketing agency Golley Slater has announced plans to broaden its digital offerings with a new appointment and potential acquisitions.

John Kinder, former sales director of online market research company Pureprofile, will take the role of managing director of Golley Slater Digital.

Commenting on his appointment to the Drum magazine, he said he aims to deliver innovative solutions for the company's clients.

"This is an exciting time to be leading Golley Slater Digital. The company is already well positioned within the marketplace, enabling our clients to differentiate themselves and create cut through in an increasingly complex and fragmented media landscape," he said.

It has also been reported that Golley Slater is in talks with three digital agencies in Manchester with a view to opening a new digital division in the city during 2008.

The company has already acquired agencies in both Cambridge and London.

Golley Slater was founded in 1957 and now employs some 300 people in advertising, PR, direct marketing and executive search, among other things.

Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment works on behalf of both permanent and freelance agency and in-house candidates across the creative, design and branding, digital, DM, events, experiential, integrated, PR and sales promotion sectors.
