The company behind a new online magazine service has appointed a new managing director.
John Menzies Digital, the company behind magazinesondemand.co.uk, has announced that it has appointed a new managing director in the form of Sarah Clegg.
Ms Clegg, formerly employed at Emap and Zinio, will become managing director as of September, Brand Republic reports.
The company launched magazinesondemand.co.uk three weeks ago. This is a service which allows members of the public to download a range of popular magazines and read them on their computers.
It currently has around 20,000 subscribers and over 100 titles, including Psychologies, Papercraft Inspirations and Men's Fitness.
Menzies Distribution managing director Ellis Watson said Ms Clegg had won the position thanks to "her in-depth knowledge of our business and especially her great understanding of the digital magazines sector".
The website works in conjunction with free-to-install delivery software, although a key feature of the system is the ability to save magazines to a USB key, which allows customers to read them on any computer, even one without Delivery software installed.
Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment works on behalf of both permanent and freelance agency and in-house candidates across the creative, design and branding, digital, DM, events, experiential, integrated, PR and sales promotion sectors.
