EBay Advertising has set up a new division to facilitate the launch of multi-national marketing campaigns.
In a new development, eBay Advertising has created a division to make it easier for companies to launch multinational marketing campaigns on the auction website.
Called eBay Advertising International, the department will provide media agencies and advertisers with data covering areas such as transactional history and user behaviour, Brand Republic reports.
It will mean that firms will no longer have to deal with local eBay markets separately.
Commenting on the new offering, head of eBay Advertising International Christian Kunz said: "At eBay Advertising, we have a unique offering of the largest collection of category channels and unrivalled product transaction data, enabling brands to get closer to sales by directly targeting consumers with a high propensity to buy."
Founded in 1995 by Pierre Omidyar, eBay is a marketplace for the sale of goods and services and claims to have a global customer base of around 233 million, with 14 million in the UK alone.
Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment works on behalf of both permanent and freelance agency and in-house candidates across the creative, design and branding, digital, DM, events, experiential, integrated, PR and sales promotion sectors.
