Marks and Spencer has teamed up with marketing brand Incentivated to create a mobile marketing scheme for its Back to School range.

The retailer's back to school adverts will appear in national newspapers and will include a series of keywords, which parents can text to a shortcode.

Once this is done, a link to a mobile website will automatically be bounced back to the mobile phone, for use right there and then.

Furthermore, customers that then reply with their email address will be sent vouchers, to be spent on back to school goods.

Incentivated, whose clients include Mars Petcare, Jaguar and British Airways also then plan to create an SMS system to send personalised messages to Marks and Spencer customers, not more than three in every two months.

Marks and Spencer found out this week that a mystery investor in the company was in fact the Wellcome Trust, after the trust bought 39.35 million - 2.5 per cent of - shares in the company.

Blue Skies Marketing Recruitment works on behalf of both permanent and freelance agency and in-house candidates across the creative, design and branding, digital, DM, events, experiential, integrated, PR and sales promotion sectors. ADNFCR-1385-ID-18722847-ADNFCR
