Tiger beer launches Desperados ad campaign

Intergrated marketing campaign the way forward for Tiger's tequila beer

Integrated marketing communications agency, space, has been awarded the contract to provide marketing for Desperados, a tequila flavoured beer.

The drink, owned by Tiger Beer, will be marketed to 18 - 34-year-olds, across various platforms in order to raise awareness of the brand in innovative ways.

David Atkinson, managing partner at space, adds: "Desperados already has an underground reputation and a small but growing fanbase and our goal is to create the right formula for this ongoing growth and consumer awareness.

"We plan to maximise visibility amongst the right consumers, drive sales through engagement with the brand and its proposition, and ultimately create the right platform for a successful move into the UK market."

The highly targeted campaign will launch this month, and it is hoped that the platforms will provide the beer a chance to pick up the same message in the future, providing the brand a chance to grow in the minds of the public, it has been suggested.
