The position will see you oversee your own product area, responsible for all content writing, email marketing and website management to best market your product range. Key Responsibilities:
- Write engaging and concise content for product descriptions on the website, social media posts and email campaigns with SEO in mind.
- Support on the management of the business social media accounts (primarily LinkedIn).
- Manage and regularly review blog and web content using the WordPress CMS.
- Perform basic edits of product images using Adobe Photoshop software to be uploaded on the website.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Web Developer to create designs and functionality for the website.
- Conduct keyword research using Google Ads.
- Create email marketing campaigns and perform post-campaign reports reviewing their performance to optimise efficiency of future campaigns.
- Contribute to social media posts across all the businesses platforms in line with brand guidelines to build further awareness.
- Perform competitor analysis occasionally, working with the wider team, to make sure product pricing is competitive.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Have at least a years Marketing experience, or a Marketing graduate with demonstrable writing/editing skills perhaps from their own small business or internship/placement year.
- A talented word-smith, able to write engaging and coherent content from scratch.
- An exceptional eye for detail, able to pick up on inconsistencies and errors in text and images.
- Basic working knowledge of Adobe CC, primarily Photoshop and InDesign.
- Understanding of SEO, PPC, Google Ads and Google Analytics.
- Experience using CMS’s (WordPress, Wix, HubSpot, Magento etc).
- Exceptional level of verbal and written communication.
This role would ideally suit a Marketing Assistant, Marketing Officer, Marketing Coordinator, Digital Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Officer, Digital Marketing Coordinator, Content Assistant or a Social Media Assistant with strong written ability and experience using Adobe CC applications.
My client is based in Stourbridge and operate a fully on-site working policy. Their modern offices (with a bar!) are commutable from Dudley, Kidderminster, Harborne, Birmingham, Rubery, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Bewdley, Stourport-on-Severn, Bromsgrove, Oldbury, Smethwick, West Bromwich, Wednesbury and surrounding areas.
