I'm thrilled to be working with my client within the luxury retail sector who are currently in an exciting period of growth and are looking for a Guest Services Assistant to meet, greet and assist guests visiting the business's premises, working closely with the Senior Guest Services Assistant to coordinate on promotions, hospitality initiatives and customer queries. If you're someone who exhumes confidence, has a genuine passion for customer service, hospitality and/or the luxury sector, looking for your first role after graduating or simply want a change of environment, this could well be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests at key sites in various locations in and around the company grounds.
  • Anticipate, interpret and respond to the expressed and unexpressed needs of visiting guests in an effortless and efficient manner
  • Insightful promotion of all functions relating to tourist information and the retail offering.
  • Promotion and cross-selling of all added value services associated with the Village.
  • Seamlessly operate all added value services.
  • Provide knowledgeable insights regarding all Brands and the unique offer/promotions.
  • Engage proactively in building relationships with brands, driving appropriate & relevant footfall.
  • Engage in and support hospitality initiatives within the Village Visitor Centre, continuously improving on these to surprise & delight our guests
  • Proactively provide feedback & suggestions on any aspect of the delivery of Hospitality or our services, which will enhance the experience of our guests and further raise our performance above their expectations.
  • Assist and advise guests with a wider tourism and hospitality offer, such as booking live entertainment, sightseeing tours, cinema tickets and restaurants, making reservations on their behalfand arranging refreshments for them.
  • Own and resolve customer complaint situations in a professional & reassuring manner and in accordance with company policy
  • Compile daily and weekly reports as instructed by the Visitor Centre Manager.
  • Engage with our CRM programme and achieve sign ups to the data base.


About you:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and cultural awareness, able to interact with and attend to guests from all over the world.
  • Ideally have previous experience within Hospitality, Tourism, Leisure or Retail.
  • Able to prioritise objectives and adapt, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Have a clear drive and determination to provide excellent, world class hospitality.
  • Able to communicate with a wide range of people and strong internal/external stakeholder management.
  • Professional, friendly and have an approachable manner.
  • Computer literate and able to utilise the full suite of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Beneficially able to speak additional languages.
  • Flexibility and available to work weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays occasionally for business requirements.


This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an esteemed business with opportunity to further your knowledge of the luxury sector and develop your existing communication skills. This role would ideally suit a University graduate looking for their first full time position after finishing their studies with some part time experience in retail/sales/hospitality/leisure or an individual with a substantial work history in relevant industries wanting a change of environment.

The role is based out of my client's premises in Bicester with on-site transport links, easily commutable from Oxford, Banbury, Buckingham, Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Kidlington, Brackley, Chipping Norton, Witney and Bletchley. You will be required to be on-site Monday - Friday (with the occasional weekend as stated above).
