The Role: This Head of Marketing and Customer Experience is a brand new role within the marketing team and reports to the Marketing Director with a team to manage and develop. A true omni-channel marketing role, you will be responsible for driving the brand purpose and experience across all of the customer touchpoints; in-store, digital and direct. Working closely with the Marketing Director and Head of Digital and Trading, you will ensure that the brand experience is consistent and positive in every piece of communication to result in the acquisition of new customers, the retention of existing and the re-engagement with in-active customers.
Consumer campaigns- print, email and in-store
Brand guardian – ensure all consumer communications promote brand values and tone of voice
Magazine production – over-see the production and delivery of mail-order catalogues
CRM – work internally and with agencies on the delivery of email communications, using appropriate data segments, messaging and content
Retail marketing – produce in-store and local marketing campaigns which are consistent with the brand messaging across digital and print channels
Work on loyalty and communications to customers
Ensure website content reflects the brand
The Candidate: To be considered for this Head of Marketing and Customer Experience role, you must have worked in a B2C environment such as retail, leisure and travel, direct marketing/mail order etc. and be a true marketing generalist with experience working in an omni-channel organisation.
You will understand the importance of customer experience and brand and how to convey this through all channels. Ideally with some experience in print, you will also have a solid understanding of digital marketing, particularly CRM and email marketing direct to consumers and be highly commercial. Essential to this role is someone who is an inspirational manager and leader and who loves to work closely with colleagues to ensure that you are collectively providing a best in class service.
