My client are a leading national charity with a strong heritage and growing brand presence. Having just experienced their most successful year to date and with a strong strategy in place moving forwards, they are now strengthening their team with the appointment of a Partnerships Manager.
The Partnerships Manager will focus on gaining traction on a new membership programme as well as the acquisition of new corporate members. Working closely alongside the CEO, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Acquisition of organisations to a new membership programme
- Working with the engagement team to build loyalty and member retention
- Identify and exploit sponsorship opportunities
- Work alongside the communications team to deliver relevant content
- Own the development and direction of the membership programme
This is a really great opportunity for an existing Partnerships Manager to flex their muscles in a new role or for an individual with previous experience of developing memberships, partnerships or sponsorship relationships to take their career further. You will be a natural communicator with the ability to source, engage and convert organisations to members with ease. This isn’t a role requiring a ‘salesy’ approach, but you must be comfortable networking, attending events and presenting at a senior level.
An excellent opportunity to work in the charity sector for a truly lovely organisation. Whilst previous charity experience is desirable, it’s more about the right attitude and approach. So, if you feel as though you have a lot to bring to a role like this, please get in touch ASAP.
