Performance Marketing Manager

Are you an experienced Paid Media specialist looking to further your career in a fast-paced and growing agency?


We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Paid Media team, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, where you will be responsible for the strategies, planning, and implementation of all Paid Media channels in the agency; paid search (PPC), paid social, programmatic display, and affiliates.


Key to the role is to ensure strong paid media plans are developed as part of a broader media plan. Having a clear understanding of the digital ecosystem that our clients operate within and how customer data can be leveraged to connect audiences with our client’s key objectives whilst maintaining ROI is essential. Requires strong commercial acumen, leadership, and communication skills, as well as a responsibility to protect, grow and generate new income streams for tmwi.


You’ll be supported by a team of Execs, reporting into the Director of Digital Activation.



  • Creating and executing cutting edge performance marketing media plans
  • Leading the paid media strategy (PPC, paid social, programmatic display, affiliates), working to a clear set of defined KPIs
  • Manage the platform’s daily budgets, billing reconciliation and spend pacing in adherence to allocations and desired return (CPA/ CPL)
  • Manage day-to-day paid media activity and overseeing the performance of accounts with your team - campaign set up, bid strategies, ad copy and daily optimisations
  • On-going campaign performance reporting, including written commentary and insights for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the data science team to discover and test data driven ways to optimise performance
  • Supporting key stakeholders with integrated research and planning
  • Identifying and testing new channels to continue to meet or exceed KPIs
  • Working closely with key stakeholders to share performance and conversion improvement ideas
  • Develop and refine processes within the paid media team, ensuring these are robust and integrate media channel across the agency for a full holistic approach.
  • Delivering paid media strategies and presentations when needed, to clients or internal stakeholders
  • Maintain high awareness of the industry offerings and actively test with new partners
  • Managing client’s expectations and keeping them up to date at each stage of the campaign
  • Supporting the new business team with research, planning and pitches


Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar paid media role, with a proven track record of delivering against KPIs
  • Experience in all aspects of paid media platforms including, Google Ads, MS Ads, Programmatic Display, Paid Social (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and Twitter), Amazon and affiliates networks
  • Google Ads qualified
  • Strong understanding of measurement tools and methodology across digital channels
  • Understanding of scripts/tags and Google Tag Manager would be beneficial
  • Excellent reporting skills with an inquisitive and proactive approach
  • Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to leverage data, analytics and consumer behaviour trends in order to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Commercial awareness to drive the business and client objectives forward
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, both with clients and internally
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/ Google (primarily Excel and PowerPoint)
