My client is a digital shopping business based in the West Midlands who have a really exciting product offering and a very creative and collaborative working environment. Very fast-paced and promotions led, they are currently looking for a PR and Social Media Assistant to join their team.
The role: Focused on creating and delivering the social media strategy to drive engagement and generate new customers and also promote special offers to drive traffic to the online shop. The role is also responsible for delivering PR activities.
Plan social media calendar two weeks in advance, liaising with sales, product and ecommerce on messaging and promotions.
Write all social content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, including paid Facebook ads
Liaise with photographers and videographers to produce all assets
Respond to all messages on social media
Write press releases and award entry pieces
Build relationships with bloggers and influencers
Candidate: You will already have some experience in a social media and/or PR role and have a genuine love for writing. With excellent attention to detail and the aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity will allow you to work cross-functionally in a vibrant and creative business. It is preferred that you have some experience of paid social media advertising as well as using Google Analytics to monitor the success of social media activity driving traffic to the website. Although joining the role as an assistant, you will be required to step-up into an executive role within 6 months.
