Description

I’m working on a fantastic Senior Account Director / Group Account Director opportunity with a leading retail agency based in Birmingham, if you’re a Senior Account Director or Group Account Director with integrated marketing experience looking to work on some iconic brands please get in touch!

This agency works with some of the biggest brands out there coming up with exceptional retail design and branding for their clients and executing integrated campaigns to bring their brands to life and provide a second to none customer experience. They have an international offering and manage campaigns across the globe and are looking for a Senior Account Director or Group Account Director with highly creative agency experience to join their fantastic team.

Within this role you’d be responsible for managing a team from SAM to AE level, leading from the front and developing and nurturing some highly talented account handlers. As well as this you’ll be steering client strategy and coming up with creative concepts across the board for two key clients who are both huge brands within sports and automotive.

The SAD / GAD will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the strategic lead on some of the agency’s key clients, really getting under the skin of their brands and target customers and steering their strategy
  • Coming up with creative concepts that really push the boundaries
  • Overseeing the delivery of campaigns from brief to execution with the support of your team who will range from Senior Account Manager to Account Executive level
  • Developing new business within your client base, spotting opportunities and developing these (with a bonus reward!)
  • Managing budgets and ensuring the profitability of projects
  • Managing and developing your team, including responsibility for training and development

They are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Experience at Senior Account Director or Group Account Director level
  • Experience working at a strategic level on integrated, retail design or experiential campaigns
  • A brilliantly creative but also highly commercial approach

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award winning retail agency with a high profile client base across a variety of consumer sectors including electronic, sports, fashion and automotive.  The role would suit an established Senior Account Director or a Group Account Director, or a strategic Marketing Manager with big brand experience who is looking to join a highly regarded agency working on a truly brilliant client base.

They’re based in Birmingham, easily commutable by train and an easy drive from across Warwickshire and the West Midlands – Birmingham, Coventry, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Solihull, Leamington Spa, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon.

If you think this could be the role for you and would like to know more or have a confidential chat, please send through your CV today!
