My client is an innovative and fast-moving global tech business, developing and manufacturing hardware and software products for the gaming industry. Selling via channel partners, they are looking to continue their growth and so now require a full time Senior Marketing Manager to take responsibility for setting the strategy and delivering the marketing campaigns.
The Role: This is such an exciting opportunity for a highly commercial and results driven marketer, looking to take the next step up into an influential role. Initially a stand-alone position supporting a small global sales team, there will be the opportunity to grow a team within 12-18 months. The objective for the Senior Marketing Manager is to grow brand awareness through integrated marcoms as well as deliver creative lead generation campaigns that deliver strong ROI. This is a truly generalist role so you must have multi-channel marketing experience which includes:
- Brand communications through PR and advertising
- Product and sales collateral production
- White papers/presentations and case study creation
- Digital content including website and social media
- CRM experience for email marketing and direct mail
- Understanding of digital marketing for acquisition
- Events and exhibition experience
- Market research, competitor analysis and understanding of market segmentation
- Agency management
The Candidate: To be successful in this role, you must be happy to roll your sleeves up and be completely hands on with campaign delivery, as well as having the strategic experience in order to create the marketing plan, manage the budget and forecast ROI. You must be able to demonstrate where you have managed and delivered integrated marketing campaigns previously which have resulted in strong ROI and acquisition of new customers.
Your experience will be across digital and offline marketing channels, very campaign focused and with both creative and analytical flair. You MUST have experience of working in a global role and ideally experience of working within a marketing agency at some point in your career would be beneficial but in-house experience is a pre-requisite.
Applications will be considered from both B2B and B2C backgrounds. The client is looking for an individual who has clear progression in their career to date and who is hungry to take on more responsibility and grow with the company and the role. Ultimately the role title will be Head of Marketing.
As well as the salary of £45,000 - £60,000 DOE, the benefits which accompany the role are as follows; 25 days holiday + BH, stakeholder pension, EAP, laptop and phone and mileage expensed.
This role can be home based but the expectation will be for this person to travel to the Crawley office for 2-3 days per week.
