Gearmate Ltd. designs and manufactures its own brand of product for the European 4 x 4 Accessories market, and had been looking for a Marketing Executive with a fairly specific skill set for a number of months. The successful applicant needed to be self-motivated, keen to endorse a brand new product range, have excellent social media marketing awareness and be very flexible and adaptable to business needs.
After discussing the needs within the team we visited the Gearmate offices to discuss the company and requirements in more detail. It was fascinating to find out more about the products and how this marketer would fit in to the team. Meeting with Gearmate allowed us to understand fully the requirements and what they needed from a Marketing Executive. Seeing the offices and place of work allowed us to truly understand the company culture to ensure that we found the right candidate who would fit, not only from a skills perspective but also culture fit. Personality is so key to the recruitment process therefore it is important to get to know the companies that we work with and see what daily life is like to work there.
